Justin Bieber leaves fans waiting for two hours. So, Justin, when you say "technical issues," do you mean "napping off a birthday hangover?"

When you're Justin Bieber and you've just spent the weekend partying for your "worst birthday," it's completely OK to show up two hours late for a concert, right?

Oh. No? Yeah, we didn't think so either. Sadly for many London fans, Bieber missed that memo and left them hanging for hours while he was out doing who knows what.

The show was scheduled to start at 8:30 p.m., but, according to the thousands of people in attendance, Bieber didn't take the stage until 10:30 p.m. Bieber, who is 19, has a very young fan base. The pop singer took the stage after many of his fans would have already been sent to bed.

Worst still, according to the Associated Press, many concertgoers were forced to leave the arena soon after Bieber took the stage to make sure they could catch the last train home.

What was the official excuse for his tardiness? Well, it's a little vague.

First, Bieber argued over just how late he was and then blamed it on "technical issues." Later, he went on to tweet an additional message, "There is no excuse for that and I apologize for anyone we upset. However it was great show and I'm proud of that."

The venue also apologized via Twitter, "to all the Justin Bieber fans for the lateness of his show tonight."

Apologies are helpful when you're 15, 30 or maybe even 45 minutes late. When you're two hours late, you owe something a little more substantial than a 140-character excuse. If you had time to party hard all weekend for your 19th birthday, you should have had time to get your schedule figured out before the show and been ready to roll at 8:30 p.m.

Bieber is also scheduled to perform at the O2 on Tuesday through Thursday. Hopefully, the fans who were forced to miss most of the first show will be able to catch him later in the week.

Better yet, maybe they'll find a new favorite band or singer who actually respects their fans. We're sure Justin is a decent guy. However, fans deserve to be treated with respect and admiration. We're sure there are tons of other performers who would be far more grateful that so many people showed up to see them.
