The cat is officially out of the bag. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville and actor Gerard Butler had a fling. Despite Glanville spreading the gossip back in January 2012, the news was officially confirmed by Butler on Howard Stern's show on Monday.
When the shock jock asked the Playing For Keeps actor about Glanville, Butler explained the situation.
He said, "Here's the thing. You're at a beach party, you're having fun and this girl comes along. So, what do you do? She says, 'Doesn't matter.' We hung out. We had a little bit of fun."
What Butler didn't know is that he involved himself with a reality star known for airing her dirty laundry on Twitter. Glanville's social media fights with LeAnn Rimes have been epic. Rimes is married to the RHOBH star's ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian.
In fact, the 43-year-old found out who Glanville actually was from a member of the paparazzi who said he heard a rumor that the former model thought that Butler was good in bed.
He told Stern, "And you know what I said: 'Who's Brandi Glanville?' Because one, I didn't know her last name, and two, I didn't know she was a celebrity. And I didn't know she was going to f**king tell people about it!"
There is still the he said-she said element to the whole story since Butler insisted it was an afternoon of fun while Glanville told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live back in 2012 that it was "a little week of fun." She boasted that the actor ranked an "11" on a scale of one to 10 for his bedroom skills.

Hoewever, no one seems to be mad about Glanville revealing their tryst. Butler called Cibrian's ex to apologize for his comment to the paparazzo.
He said to Stern, "I said one, 'I'm not very happy you did that because there are certain things you keep a little private.' And two, 'I'm sorry I said I didn't know who you were!’"
Glanville responded to the actor's appearance on Stern when she was again a guest on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Monday night.
She revealed, "We had a little texting today, and I think he's a doll. And I feel bad for what I said. He is lovely, and I appreciate him making it right."
Now that we have all been TMI'd, it's time to put this story to bed, just like Butler and Glanville.
