The young teen we saw dancing and singing in Disney's High School Musical is all grown up. On Wednesday, Vanessa Hudgens was on The Tonight Show and she showed off some eye-popping moves to Jay Leno.
The 24-year-old was on the show to promote her new movie Spring Breakers. She talked with the late night host about a party she attended with co-star Selena Gomez. The party's host was none other than Madonna. Naturally, there was a lot of loud music and dancing going on in the room.
Hudgens explained that Madonna's dancers were all showing off their moves on the dance floor. The actress knew she had a move or two up her sleeve.
She told Leno, "They were having a dance off so I was like, 'I gotta jump in on this action. They need some of Vanessa up in this. So I had a dance off with some of her dancers, and I took the prize."
Her signature move involves a little booty and a whole lot of popping.
The former teen star shared, "I hate to admit it but when it comes to my dancing, there's a lot of booty popping involved."
The talk show host was not going to let this opportunity get away, so with a little music from The Tonight Show band and some encouragement from the audience, Hudgens jumped up to shimmy and shake.
The audience, and Leno, was quite pleased to see her sexy moves as she danced in a sequined yellow dress in front of the desk on set.

Her latest film, Spring Breakers, is a departure from her former kid-friendly films. Hudgens, along with Gomez, is trying to break into more adult roles and shed that Disney image. The movie follows four college girls who go on a small-time crime spree to pay for their spring break.
Spring Breakers is currently out in theatres in limited release. The nationwide release is set for March 22.
