Jessica Alba wrote a book similar to Gwyneth Paltrow's, but wants you to read hers because she doesn't think you can relate to Paltrow's high class of living.

Jessica Alba may have a fight on her hands. The actress just released a book about parenting and diet, as did Gwyneth Paltrow. But Alba wants to make sure the two actresses are not compared to each other in any other way.

Alba spoke with the New York Daily News about her new book, The Honest Life: Living Naturally and True to You, and said her book would be more relatable to real women than Paltrow’s would.

"Gwyneth Paltrow probably lives a very similar lifestyle, but I didn't grow up with a bunch of money, so my tips are much more grounded: repurposing things and making things at home," Alba told the newspaper.

Part of the book incorporates healthy ways to feed your family with "nontoxic products and organic produce," according to Us Weekly. And she also called out another actress for her beliefs.

"Alicia Silverstone is a vegan, so she's the extreme side of it," she said.

The 31-year-old has two children, four-year-old Honor and 19-month-old Haven. Paltrow also has two children and recently released her own cookbook, It’s All Good, with recipes she feeds her family. Paltrow said she has mostly cut out carbs and gluten for her children.

"[Paltrow] also regularly includes extravagant, high-priced product recommendations -- $240 towels, anyone? -- in her Goop newsletter," said Us Weekly.

But Alba said she is a normal person and follows all the guidelines in her book. She knows the average woman could easily do it as well.

"I absolutely do these things. That's why I wrote the book," she told the Daily News. "There's lots of options, like delivery services for fresh produce that is organic, if people just want to do a couple of things in the book that are super-easy...You can take what you want from the book."
