Kevin Hart was arrested early Sunday morning and later charged with DUI. The famous actor and comedian was on the freeway when California Highway Patrol spotted Hart speeding. TMZ reports a CHP officer told them Hart was "driving erratic," was going 90 mph and "almost collided with a gas tanker truck."

The CHP officer said Kevin Hart was clearly drunk as he showed "objective signs of intoxication" and "was unable to perform field sobriety tests."
Kevin Hart discussed his arrest with his fans on Twitter Sunday afternoon. Hart tweeted, "When the cop asked me to take the sobriety test I said 'WHY WASTE OUR TIME... I'M DRUNK MAN" ..... #TrueStory."

Hart continued, "On some real s**t.....drinking & driving is not a game or a laughing matter. People have lost lives because of stupid s*** this! This is a wake up call for me, I have to be smarter & last night I wasn't....everything happens for a reason..."
TMZ says Kevin Hart was "booked into a local jail for misdemeanor DUI just before 6:00 a.m. PST and posted a $5,000 bond."
This is Kevin Hart's first arrest. The 32-year-old actor and comedian said he worked out — doing "6,000 push ups and 13,000 sit ups"— while he and his cell mate, "Mark," waited for their release.
